Auditions, Workshops, Classes

Q: I am a dancer who is interested in auditions/workshops/open classes. How do I find out about these?
A: Please email your information, including a resume or CV and headshot, to info@billtjones.org. The Company keeps a list of interested dancers who are notified via email of upcoming auditions, workshops, and open classes. We also post notices for auditions and classes in local and national publications, as well as at dance studios and schools with dance programs. The company does not teach regular classes. Classes are sometimes offered in conjunction with performances if scheduled by the presenting theater. See our performance calendar for upcoming performance locations.

Q: Where are you located? Do you have studio space? How do I send something to Bill T. Jones?
A: Our administrative offices are located at 120th Street & Lenox Avenue in Harlem, New York City. We are on the 2/3 subway line. At the moment, we do not have studio space, but it is one of our long-term goals to establish a permanent home for the Company in Harlem - including studio and performance space.

September 4, 2008-AUDITION NOTICE!

Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company seeks female and male actors who can sing for immediate employment for the creation of a new work about Abraham Lincoln. Artist will contribute to the creative process, and needs to take direction well. Musical styles we are interested in are: gospel, classical/opera, folk and their own original music.

Auditions will be held Thursday, September 4- 11:00am-6:00pm
