Partners in Creation
A Creative Journey
The Partners in Creation program offers a front row seat to Bill T. Jones' artistic process, allowing an unprecedented level of access to one of the pre-eminent artists of our time. The creative journey follows the work from the gestation of the first creative idea to the premiere and touring of the work. Examples of some special opportunities include invitations to private rehearsals, salons in the homes of our partners and/or board members, email from Bill, and private dinners. Partners in Creation are offered regular opportunities to experience the development of the creative journey first hand.
Partners in Creation Commissions
Since its inception in 2006, Partners in Creation have funded over 60% of each new work creation which has so far included Chapel/Chapter (2006) and A Quarreling Pair (2007). Upcoming new work creations and special projects include: Another Evening: Serenade/The Proposition; A Good Man!/A Good Man?; Lincoln Lectures, and the 100 Migrations (nationwide workshops).
